Mr. Ashraful Hassan has been working with Grameen since 1984.  He is an expert in project development, industrial setup, supply chain management, sales channels and product sourcing in social business. He also has broad and diversified knowledge in various industrial sectors specially in the field of textile based on resource and energy efficient production, industrial management, export market, labor management and so on. He holds extensive knowledge in the field of construction engineering and extended notable contribution in the infrastructural development of Grameen group. Currently he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several enterprises that play commendable role in the fields of ICT, renewable energy, health care, food and nutrition, employment generation and so forth. He is also a board member of Grameenphone. He holds Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh. In addition to Grameen Distribution, he is currently appointed as the Chairman of Grameen Group.
