In 2019, GDL established its own mobile phone manufacturing factory. It is one of the early mobile phone SKD (Semi Knocked Down) factories in Bangladesh, with the capacity to produce approximately 3 million mobile phones annually.

Our factory has an advanced lab, enabling it to guarantee the best quality. There are optical test labs, audio test labs, radio frequency test labs, battery and power test labs, accessory test labs, reliability test labs, and aging test labs. Each lab is equipped with the most advanced and high-tech facilities to ensure the quality and reliability of the mobile phone devices. This is why GDL's mobile phone assembly factory has become a trusted name in the industry for quality production in a very short time.

Surface Mount Technology
To further advance the production process, GDL has introduced its SMT (Surface Mount Technology) project alongside the assembly plant. Through this SMT project, GDL is not only assembling mobile phones but also manufacturing the motherboards of a mobile phone device. The current setup of GDL's SMT plant can produce approximately 300 motherboards per hour with this advanced technology.
